Ticket Subsidy Program
We believe every child should experience professional and engaging Jewish theater.
Our Ticket Subsidy Program is a fund that provides financial assistance for students to attend the annual holiday production at Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company. Thanks to contributors like you, the fund enabled 2,000 school-aged children to attend The Chanukah Guest in December 2018 for only $3 per child.

STUDENTS From expo elementary learn about Costumes and lighting before a performance of the chanukah guest (2018).
MJTC provides the only professional Hanukkah show for children & families in the region.
Together we can continue to enable and support classrooms and homeschools across Minnesota and beyond by inviting elementary-aged students to share in the richness and diversity of MJTC stories. Founded in 2002, the Ticket Subsidy Program continues to provide accessible pricing for classrooms year after year. Our annual holiday show is an interactive, hour-long performance rooted in Jewish culture that embraces universal subjects like friendship, sharing, community, and family.
"I learned why not to hate Jewish people."
Wrote an 8-year-old student from Urban Academy after attending the MJTC commissioned play, Hanukkah Lights in the Big Sky.
Your contribution to this fund will make a meaningful impact for students who might not otherwise be exposed to theater or Jewish culture. Help us educate and lift up the next generation by giving classrooms and homeschools this special opportunity to attend professional, award-winning theater rooted in Jewish content and character.
